Health screenings are brief clinical examinations and tests to look for disease indicators before patients develop any symptoms. These exams are important because they may provide an opportunity to prevent the onset of chronic diseases.

Am I eligible?
- All CCSF employees are able to participate (bring your employee ID).
- Employees who haven’t measured their numbers in the past year should consider participating.
- Participation is voluntary.
What do the health screens check for?
- Measure your cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, Body Mass Index, waist circumference, and body fat percentage.
- Cholesterol and blood sugar are tested with a finger stick blood draw. No fasting required.
- Individual results are confidential: SFHSS will receive summary results from the event.
- Screenings are conducted by Kaiser Permanente.
- The screener will review your results with you at the end.
- There is no cost for the screening.
